E-Mail Contact

On our website, it is possible to contact us via the e-mail address provided. If you take advantage of this possibility, the personal data transmitted with the e-mail will be stored and only collected and processed for the purpose of processing and answering your inquiries based on Art. 6 para. 1 UAbs. 1 lit. a) and b) DSGVO. In the area of job advertisements, we use the software “Zoho Recruit” of the company Zoho Cooperation GMBH, Trinkausstr. 7, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany. We use technical and organizational security measurements to protect the personal data you provide to us from manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. Our security measures are continuously improved and adapted according to the state of the art. It cannot be ruled out that data transmitted by you without encryption may be viewed by third parties during transmission. Please note that no conclusively secure transmission can be guaranteed with regard to data transmission via the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail). Sensitive data should therefore either not be transmitted over the Internet at all or only via a secure connection (SSL).

Protection of minors

Consent to process personal data can only be given by a person of full age. For information society services, the consent of a child is permissible from the age of sixteen years in accordance with Art. 8 DSGVO.

Social Media

We would like to get in contact with you and other parties, customers and users. For this we use different social networks. Which individual social networks we use can be found in these legal notes. However, we would like to point out that we have no influence on which data is collected. As a rule, however, this is data that is used for market research and advertising purposes. This is usually done by creating user profiles and the interests identified from them. This makes it possible to display customized advertising. For this reason, the use of social networks may also set cookies for you.

Furthermore, we would like to point out that your data may also be processed outside the European Union and that you therefore run the risk of not being able to enforce your rights properly. Basically, we would like to provide you with information in the easiest and fastest way possible or give you the opportunity to share such information. Therefore, unless you have consented to data processing on the respective platform, the legal basis is our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 para. 1 UAbs. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. Facebook

Facebook plug-ins (Like and Share button)

You can recognize the Facebook plug-ins by the “Like, Share or Send-buttons” (“Like”) on our website. These are provided by Facebook Ireland Ltd. (4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland; hereinafter referred to as “Facebook”). A detailed overview of the Facebook plug-ins is available at the following link: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.

When you visit our website, a direct connection is established between the Facebook server and your browser via the plug-in. This tells Facebook that you have visited our site using your IP address. If the “Like-Button” is clicked while you are logged into your Facebook account, it is possible that you can link the contents of our website on your Facebook profile. This enables Facebook to assign your visit to our website to your user account.

Your data will only be transmitted after your express consent. We would like to point out that we do not obtain knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. The Facebook privacy policy can be found at: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation.

Facebook (Link)

On our site, we use a reference (link) to our presence on the social network Facebook (Facebook fan page) to interact with Facebook users who visit the fan page. For this Facebook fan page, we have teamed up with Facebook Ireland Ltd. (4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland; hereinafter referred to as “Facebook”) as joint responsible party pursuant to Art. 26 of the Basic Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO). The agreement on joint responsibility can be found under the following link: https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/page_controller_addendum.

With the processing of your personal data, we pursue the purpose of providing visitors with an up-to-date information platform and an opportunity to interact on Facebook. The basis of the processing is therefore our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 para. 1 UAbs. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. The interests of the users are always considered. Information on the legal basis for processing on Facebook can be found at http://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/legal_bases/.

When visiting our Facebook fan page, Facebook collects and processes personal data on the basis of the legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 subpara. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. Part of this data is made available to us in summarized form via the so-called “Insights” (Facebook user statistics). A cookie is stored for this purpose on the user’s end device. This serves to be able to use this information again at a later date. The cookie remains active for a period of two years if it is not deleted. Further information from Facebook on the use of cookies can be found in the Facebook cookie policy at https://de-de.facebook.com/policies/cookies/. The transmission of these user statistics is exclusively in an anonymous form and there is no possibility for us to access the data on which they are based.

Whether Facebook transmits personal data to third parties is beyond our control. It is possible that Facebook Inc., based in the USA, processes personal data outside the European Union. Personal data will not be passed on to third parties by us. You can find more information about Facebook’s data policy at: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/update?ref=old_policy

If you are already logged into Facebook via your personal user account, the information about your visit to our website will be automatically forwarded to Facebook. It is then possible for Facebook to assign the visit to the website to your account. If you do not wish your data to be transmitted and stored by Facebook, please log out of your Facebook account.

Use of Google Analytics

Nature and purpose of the processing:

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA (hereinafter: “Google"). Google Analytics uses “cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymisation on these websites, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide further services to the website operator in connection with website and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google.

The purpose of data processing is to evaluate the use of the website and to compile reports on activities on the website. Based on the use of the website and the Internet, further associated services are then to be provided.

Legal Basis:

The processing of the data is based on the consent of the user (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO).

Recipients:

The recipient of the data is Google as the processor of the order. We have concluded the corresponding contract with Google for this purpose.

Storage period:

The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for our recording purposes.

Third Country Transfer:

The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. However, due to the activation of IP anonymization on these websites, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google.

You can find more information on terms of use and data protection at https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html and https://policies.google.com/?hl=de.

Provision is mandatory or necessary:

The provision of your personal data is voluntary, solely based on your consent. If you prevent access, this may result in functional restrictions on the website.

Revocation of Consent:

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however, please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: Browser Add On to deactivate Google Analytics.

In addition, or as an alternative to the browser add-on, you can prevent tracking by Google Analytics on our pages by clicking on this link. This will install an opt-out cookie on your device. This will prevent Google Analytics from tracking this website and this browser in the future for as long as the cookie remains installed in your browser.

Profiling:

With the help of the tracking tool Google Analytics, the behaviour of visitors to the website can be evaluated and their interests analysed. For this purpose, we create a pseudonymous user profile.

Use of script libraries (Google Webfonts)

Nature and purpose of the processing:

To display our content correctly and in a graphically appealing manner across browsers, we use “Google Web Fonts" from Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter “Google") on this website to display fonts.

The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Legal Basis:

The legal basis for the integration of Google Web Fonts and the associated data transfer to Google is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO).

Recipients:

The call of script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the operator of the library. It is theoretically possible – although it is currently unclear whether and for what purposes – that the operator collects data from Google in this case.

Storage period:

We do not collect any personal data through the integration of Google Webfonts.

Further information about Google Web Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in the Google privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Third Country Transfer:

Google processes your data in the USA. You can find more information about data processing by Google in the Google privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. There you can also change your personal privacy settings in the Privacy Center.

Provision is mandatory or necessary:

The provision of personal data is not required by law or contract. However, it may not be possible to display the contents correctly using standard fonts.

Revocation of Consent:

The JavaScript programming language is regularly used to display the content. You can therefore object to the data processing by deactivating the execution of JavaScript in your browser or installing a JavaScript blocker. Please note that this may result in functional restrictions on the website.

Use of Google Maps

Nature and purpose of the processing:

On this website we use the offer of Google Maps. Google Maps is operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter “Google"). This enables us to display interactive maps directly on the website and enables you to use the map function conveniently.

You can find more detailed information about data processing by Google in the Google data protection information. You can also change your personal privacy settings in the Privacy Center.

Detailed instructions for managing your own data in connection with Google products can be found here.

Legal Basis:

The legal basis for the integration of Google Maps and the associated data transfer to Google is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO).

Recipients:

By visiting the website, Google receives information that you have called up the corresponding subpage of our website. This happens regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in at Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account.

If you do not want the allocation in your Google profile, you must log out of Google before activating the button. Google stores your data as user profiles and uses them for purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. Such evaluation is carried out (even for users who are not logged in) for the purpose of providing needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have a right of objection to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact Google in order to exercise this right.

Storage period:

We do not collect personal data, through the integration of Google Maps.

Third Country Transfer:

Google processes your data in the USA.

You can find more information about data processing by Google in the Google privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. There you can also change your personal privacy settings in the Privacy Center.

Revocation of Consent:

If you do not want Google to collect, process or use data about you via our website, you can deactivate JavaScript in your browser settings. In this case, however, you will not be able to use our website, or only to a limited extent.

Provision is mandatory or necessary:

The provision of your personal data is voluntary, solely based on your consent. If you prevent access, this may result in functional restrictions on the website.

LinkedIn

LinkedIn Adds

We use on our website the tracking service “LinkedIn Ads”, a service of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company (Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland; hereinafter referred to as: “LinkedIn”). LinkedIn Ads stores and processes information about your user behavior on our website. LinkedIn Ads uses, among other things, cookies, small text files that are stored locally in the cache of your web browser which allow an analysis of the use of our website by you.

We use LinkedIn Ads for marketing and optimization purposes, in particular to analyze the use of our website and to continuously improve individual functions and offers as well as the user experience. By statistically evaluating user behavior, we can improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. Embedded YouTube videos

Nature and purpose of the processing:

On some of our websites we embed YouTube videos. The operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA (hereinafter “YouTube"). When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to YouTube servers is established. This tells YouTube which pages you visit. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube can assign your surfing behavior to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account first.

If a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behaviour.

For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by YouTube, please refer to the provider’s privacy policy. There you will also find further information on your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

Legal Basis:

The legal basis for the integration of YouTube and the associated data transfer to Google is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO).

Recipients:

The call to YouTube automatically triggers a connection to Google.

Storage period and withdrawal of consent:

If you have deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program, you will not have to expect such cookies even when watching YouTube videos. YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, you must block cookies from being saved in your browser.

Further information on data protection at “YouTube" can be found in the provider’s privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Provision is mandatory or necessary:

The provision of your personal data is voluntary, solely based on your consent. If you prevent access, this may result in functional restrictions on the website.

Social Plugins

Nature and purpose of the processing:

On our websites we use social plugins from the providers listed below. You can recognize the plugins by the fact that they are marked with the corresponding logo.

These plugins may be used to send information, which may include personal data, to the service provider and may be used by the service provider. We prevent the unconscious and unintentional collection and transmission of data to the service provider by a 2-click solution. To activate a desired social plugin, it must first be activated by clicking on the corresponding button. Only when the plugin is activated is the collection of information and its transmission to the service provider triggered. We ourselves do not collect any personal data via the social plugins or their use.

We have no influence on what data an activated plugin collects and how it is used by the provider. At present, it must be assumed that a direct connection to the provider’s services is established and that at least the IP address and device-related information is collected and used. It is also possible that the service provider will attempt to store cookies on the computer used. Please refer to the data protection information of the respective service provider to find out which specific data is collected and how it is used. Note: If you are logged into Facebook at the same time, Facebook can identify you as a visitor to a particular page.

We have integrated the social media buttons of the following companies on our website:

Google AdWords

Nature and purpose of the processing:

Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. The operating company of the Google AdWords services is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. If you have reached our website via an ad placed by Google, Google Adwords will place a cookie on your computer. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an ad served by Google.

If the user visits certain pages on our site and the cookie has not expired, we and Google will be able to tell that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. As a result, cookies cannot be tracked across the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected through the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for those advertisers who have opted in to conversion tracking. Customers are told the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive information that can be used to personally identify users.

Legal Basis:

The legal basis for the integration of Google AdWords and the associated data transfer to Google is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO).

Whenever you visit our website, personal data, including your IP address, is transferred to Google in the USA. This personal data is stored by Google. Google may pass on this personal data collected via the technical process to third parties.

Our company does not contain any information from Google that could be used to identify the person concerned.

Storage period:

These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification.
